The "mosaic" effect was a recurring theme in the early 2000s for Galliano, representing a "collage" of global culture. It predates the widespread use of high-resolution digital printing in fashion, making the complexity of the print very technically impressive for its time.
It features a large-scale mosaic portrait of John Galliano himself. The image is composed of hundreds of tiny, individual photographs and motifs from his own career and inspirations. The reverse side features a mosaic of the Eiffel Tower, leaning into the brand's Parisian identity.
The piece remains in great condition, with vibrant, faithful colors preserved in the graphic print. Marked size corresponds to a small frame, recommended for similar sizing.

Sun exposure
Prolonged exposure to sunlight can fade colours and weaken fibres, particularly in vintage and archival pieces. Keep your garments away from direct light when not in use.
