Description and measurements
W.&L.T. was Van Beirendonck's most influential commercial line, known for its clubwear-inspired designs, futuristic motifs, and bold experimentation with textile treatments.
This is a high-contrast "Marble" or "Bleach-Tie-Dye" wash. Unlike standard acid wash, this technique creates organic, cloud-like patterns that are unique to every garment. The back pockets feature the iconic orange embroidered lightning bolt, a recurring motif in the W.&L.T. denim collections.
A zip-front, short-sleeved mini dress with heavy structural seams. It features a wide cuffed hem and sleeves, giving it a playful, exaggerated "workwear" look.
The piece is presented in great condition, with the original size S label and recommended sizing for S. Measurements are chest 43, shoulder 37 and length 96 cm.

Before anything else

Ironing
Iron at a low temperature. For delicate fabrics — silk, wool, acetate — always use a protective cloth or pressing cloth between the iron and the garment. Never iron directly over prints, embroideries, or embellishments.
Storage
Store garments in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Use padded hangers for structured pieces and fold knitwear flat to avoid stretching. Avoid plastic garment bags opt for breathable cotton covers.
Sun exposure
Prolonged exposure to sunlight can fade colours and weaken fibres, particularly in vintage and archival pieces. Keep your garments away from direct light when not in use.
