Description and measurements
While Girbaud is a French avant-garde house, these pants became an absolute cultural phenomenon in American Hip-Hop culture during the late 90s and early 2000s, particularly in the South (New Orleans, Atlanta, St. Louis).
The defining feature is the Velcro webbing straps (Shuttle Tapes) located at the shins and ankles. The straps prominently feature the M+FG logo.
In hip-hop culture, the "correct" way to wear them was extremely baggy, often with the straps left loose or adjusted to create a distinct "stacked" look over oversized sneakers like Air Force 1s.
The pants are in good condition, marked size 34 with a recommended size L. Measurements are waist 49 cm, rise 37 cm, inseam 86 cm, leg opening 24 cm.

Storage
Store garments in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Use padded hangers for structured pieces and fold knitwear flat to avoid stretching. Avoid plastic garment bags opt for breathable cotton covers.
Sun exposure
Prolonged exposure to sunlight can fade colours and weaken fibres, particularly in vintage and archival pieces. Keep your garments away from direct light when not in use.
